Meet the Team – Amy

My name is Amy Macken, I am Food and Beverage manager here at 101 Limerick. I am from Mayo and I have worked in hospitality for 15 years.

I have previously worked in Galway and Cork in large venues so I was eagerly drawn to 101 Limerick to expand my experience in running this unique and vibrant bar. We have ten exciting area’s, eight of those with bars, all distinctly different with the amazing interior throughout. I have been working here for over a year and it has been excellent to see the customer demand week in and week out as that in itself is great feedback for the business. When customers come to 101 Limerick, they can expect friendly staff, exciting atmosphere, fantastic food & cocktails along with the best music. 101 caters for a wide range of clientele as each area carries a strong character and has its own personality. It is so enjoyable to work here as there’s an instant feel-good factor once you walk in the door, the staff have a big part to play in that also, as they always have fun when they’re working and the customer’s love seeing it. I have no doubt 101 will continue to grow and expand as it has a massive niche and has a such a unique brand.
